Well, we have had a LONG day!! We were very excited to hear that we were having a girl this morning! As the doctor checked her out, everything looked great but there was a tiny "flap" flapping around in one of the chambers of her heart. He didn't know what it was, so he referred us to a pediatric cardiologist and we headed off to Dallas because they fit us right it (we didn't like the sound of that!) When we got there, he had just been called to the ER, so they told us to walk around the hospital for 45 minutes.....Finally, they called us back in and after all of that.......everything looks fine! We were so relieved. Apparently, when the chambers of the heart form, tendons stretch out and there was this lone tendon flapping around. He said that it will dissapear and the blood flow to and from the heart was perfect. No need to worry. So.....with all that said, yes, we are having a girl and it is going to be so weird around here. Jackson says he never wants to play teaparty or dolls and Drew says he will play "just once." I have a feeling she will be ruling the roost in a few years! Thanks for all your prayers today....we are so grateful!

CONGRATS!!!! I am so excited for you all! Just remember, God is in charge and knows what He is doing. Obviously you must need some estrogen in the house:-)
Yay!!!! A little Angie!! I am so thankful everything is fine after your long day. You were in my thoughts and prayers and I was so relieved and happy to hear the great news. She is going to be such a special addition to the family and so lucky to have such great big brothers!!
All great news!! I can't wait to meet this little munchkin....now I'll have someone who will actually enjoy me teaching them dance moves:)
Love you guys!
AHHHHHHHHHHH! Congratulations on a little girl! I am glad to hear that she is healthy. What a blessing!
I knew it!!! And I'll be HAPPY to have a tea party with her. I could use an excuse to do some girly things. I have too much TESTOSTERONE in my house. Obviously God thought that my presence was enough estrogen for one family. (Ha, ha)
YAY!!!!
Congrats, Angie! Just came back to blogspot and trying to catch up on everyone's blogs. Just offer tea and coffee at your "parties" and make sure the boys leave the guns at the door. My nephew is always shooting up the girls' tea parties.
