Candy, Candy, Candy.....

This Halloween was the first time Brooke actually had a say in what she wanted to be and I already knew the answer before she said it........a princess. Here she is as Belle. She wore this to school for the costume parade and was supposed to change afterwards, but her teacher said she insisted on keeping it on all day! I don't doubt that because she still puts it on at least once a day. She was super excited about trick or treating too!

We had Cooper here with us visiting, so here are all the cousins in their get ups. So cute!

Jackson and his friend Will, were both Dallas Cowboys last year, so they kept up the tradition of being the same thing. Their friends Grant and Will were hot dogs. This year, they pretty much speed trick or treated....they lost Jason within the first 3 houses and they weren't seen again for an hour when they stopped by to get a drink!

I have to say that I ordered all this costume off the Harlem Globetrotters website, but I couldn't find shorts. So, I got white shorts and painted the stripes on them. I think they turned out pretty nice!

Jason said Brooke was pretty much done by the end of the block and just wanted to get home to eat her candy! She also liked answering the door and putting candy in kids bags.

Everyone claimed their spot and began sorting and trading.......

Jackson protecting his candy.

Drew with his loot! A couple of days after Halloween, they agreed to take the candy to the dentist where they buy it back for $1 per lb. Brooke got $1 and the boys each got $4!! What will they do with that money? Probably go buy more candy....
